The UK is just as fanatical about bingo as we are in the United States.  And just as rules and prizes change from one bingo hall to the next, there are differences between the UK and US versions of the game.

Bingo players outside the UK may be unaware of the bingo battle raging.  The issue seems to center around a tax hike on licensed bingo clubs that could potentially put many out of business.  The group argues that bingo tax should be consistent with other gambling tax rates such as online poker, betting exchanges and football pools.
