Library Uses Bingo Cards To Promote Summer Reading
The Sky Hi Daily News reports that the Grand County Colorado library system has created bingo cards that encourage summer reading across every age group. We think this is a great idea not only for bingo card customization but for encouraging reading. In addition, the bingo cards are put into a drawing to win fanatstic prizes! The article states:
“Adults can participate by stopping by their nearest library and picking up a Bingo card. The Bingo cards have categories such as “Romance Novel” or “Historical Fiction,” and readers are asked to read four or five books that match these categories in a row to make a Bingo.”
