Know Your Bingo Cards
A Bingo card is a rectangular grid of five columns and five rows with 24 numbers and one blank. All the 24 numbers on the Bingo cards are displayed in a random fashion. In a Bingo card, B column consists of any five numbers from 1 to 15, I column also has five numbers ranging from 16 to 30, N column consists of a free space and four numbers from 31 to 45, G column consists of any five numbers from 46 to 60 and O column has a row of five numbers from 61-75. You have the option to choose from thousands of Bingo cards—each unique, rather not duplicated.
Besides this traditional pattern, these days many other interesting and educational adaptations of bingo cards have also come up to enhance your bingo thrill. These modifications of bingo cards comprise various patterns and different themes to suit different occasions.
For instance, the pattern of a ‘pilgrim’ or a ‘turkey’ goes with the theme of Thanksgiving and Bingo cards with patterns like ‘Santa Claus’ and ‘Bethlehem’ fits in perfectly with a Christmas bingo party. Bingo cards with multiplication sums, molecular formulae for chemical elements from the periodic table or jumbled words are especially designed to educate children.
Earlier these Bingo cards were printed on card boards or on non-reusable paper. However these days, bingo halls use the computerized version made of plastic. Once you are through with one game of Bingo, new random numbers are displayed in place of old ones on the computerized or virtual cards.
The latest development is of course the online Bingo card generator. Bingo players can design and print online Bingo cards of their choice, choosing from a variety of bingo themes, illustrations, bingo patterns and colors to handcraft their own versions of the bingo game.
